Are you interested in living & working with adults with intellectual disabilities?
Join Our Team Assistants share life in community alongside adults with intellectual disabilities (known in L'Arche as "core members".) Assistants are skilled direct support professionals who commit to building relationships of mutual care and support with core members. They accompany core members in their activities of daily life - preparing meals, caring for their home, money management, personal care needs, medication administration, family and social connections, and support at medical appointments. Most assistants will live in the home with core members and all assistants help foster a home life characterized by unity, mutual respect, and active participation.
