We are a project community of L'Arche USA. L'Arche USA exists to amplify the voices of people who have intellectual disabilities and support the development & flourishing of L'Arche communities.
L'Arche USA helps members connect throughout the year for retreats, trainings, advocacy work, and community events.
While L'Arche Frederick is an independent 501(c)3 nonprofit, we are held to the high standards of L'Arche USA and L'Arche International.
L’Arche International is dedicated to the creation and growth of homes, programs and support networks where people with and without intellectual disabilities live mutual relationships and share the daily life, building community together.
All 159 L'Arche communities and 23 project communities
in 38 countries worldwide belong to the
International Federation of L'Arche communities.
