L'Arche Frederick hosts regular events open to the community throughout the year. Our events are a great way to get to know L'Arche, experience our spirit of celebration and belonging, and build new friendships. All are welcome!
The secret to our community events? It's not what we do - it's how we do it: with intentionality, an inclusive lens, and a lot of love. Most of our events involve pretty simple activities - dances, field games, crafts, open mic nights, bingo, baking, and our famous potato bowling (when one can't construct a bowling alley, you get creative!).
We see this simplicity as a gift, reminding us that friendships grow in any environment.

Let's take advantage of the summer weather before it comes to an end. Come join in a day full of Olympic-style games, snacks, and most importantly fun! We encourage everyone to wear sunscreen, comfortable clothing, and a change of clothing if you’re interested in participating in our water games! Bring on your Olympic spirit!

L'Arche assistant, Marbella, is ready to share her artistic gifts and lead us through a watercolor painting exercise. Never used watercolors before? No problem! This event is open to people of all abilities. L'Arche provides all materials and snacks. Join us for a relaxing, creative afternoon!
