There was dancing, joy, fun...and love in the air! L'Arche's annual Valentine's Dance on February 17 brought nearly 100 people together to party the night away. People of all ages and abilities came together to dance, dine, and have an awesome time. The Valentine's Dance is a favorite in our community, plus a great way for new people to get involved with L'Arche. After filling up on dinner and dessert, it didn't take long for the line at the photo booth to grow and a conga line to form on the dance floor. This year, L'Arche house assistant, Erin, and core member, Caraline, organized a DIY felt flower station. Everyone enjoyed the chance to create a special memento from the night!
Volunteers from the Rotary Club of Carroll Creek enthusiastically set up the room, welcomed guests, and kept the energy flowing at the craft table and photo booth. Speaking of photo booth, our friends at Premier Pics set up a fantastic way for guests to remember the night (check out some photos below!). DJ Aidan with Good Vibrations kept the tunes flowing and the dance floor full. The Arc of Frederick County was a wonderful host, as always, and guests loved the desserts prepared by their bakery. We'll surely be back next year. Special thanks to our dedicated board members and staff for helping at every turn!

Enjoy a few photos from the night!
